15.93% of U.S.-born Asian American women have contemplated suicide in their lifetime.

(national estimate for all Americans: 13.5%)

Asian Americans between ages 18 and 34 have the highest estimates of thinking about, planning and attempting suicide of any age group.

The Asian Students Association (ASA) and BMC Community Diversity Assistants are co-sponsoring a meeting about depression and suicide within the Asian Pacific Islander Community. Please join us to learn more and discuss about this important issue that may be affecting members in our own communities.
